Brand Story

The Latin phrase “Salus per Aquam” translates to “health through water,” giving rise to the acronym “Spa”, which has been used for centuries to denote establishments focused on well-being, beauty, and body care.

Water occupies a significant position in diverse ancient cosmologies and hermetic wisdom traditions, symbolizing a deep reservoir of history, meaning, and importance. It encapsulates a multitude of attributes including emotion, intuition, and adaptability.

In alchemy, water is represented by a downward-pointing equilateral triangle, while in Plato’s philosophy, particularly in his cosmological dialogue Timaeus, water is linked with the icosahedron, a solid composed of twenty equilateral triangles. This symbol mirrors water’s essence, marked by its capacity to break down into myriad small spheres when contained, rendering it the element with the greatest number of facets.

An icosahedron containing an enlarged map of the Earth, representing the interconnected network of relationships and global gatherings.

The equilibrium among elements symbolizes the organization’s enduring stability and legacy within the global Spa & Beauty industry.
